Pleiades Arts is excited to partner with artist UNITED in “The Walls We Build,” a Triangle-wide exhibition of art and programming that examines the literal and metaphorical walls we build in our communities and how we can break down the many kinds of barriers that divide us from one another.
The exhibition focus at Pleiades Gallery will feature guest artists with a range of special needs and disabilities as well as Pleiades member artists. We also will have gallery programming addressing issues of accessibility, mental health, and other topics.
Guest artists include King N. Godwin, Jamie Robertson, Eduardo Lapetina, Jeffrey Newell, Jennifer Markowitz, Efrat Vaknin, and John “Wiley” Johnson, Jr.
We will have a Third Friday reception and artist talk on Friday, June 15th from 6-9 pm. The reception is free and open to the public.
